Mike Ascione is a Managing Director and a member of the Services & Industrials sector investment team at Berkshire Partners.
Since joining the firm in 2001, Mike has been a resource and collaborative partner to the management teams of more than 20 portfolio companies, helping them grow into enduring leaders in their markets, sometimes as listed public companies. Mike is a member of the firm’s Private Equity Committee which manages the firm’s private equity business and also sits on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Mike began his career in 1993 at Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Mike is active in various charitable activities including Boston College where he serves on the Board of Trustees. Mike also serves on the Board of Directors for the Pan Mass Challenge, the country’s single largest bikeathon which has raised $900 million for Dana Farber and cancer research since its inception.
Mike and his wife have four children and he has spent many years coaching various youth sports in his free time. Mike fondly remembers one of his first jobs hawking popcorn in the stands of the Liberty Bowl for Memphis Showboat games during the 1980s days of the USFL.
Mike received a B.S. from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
