Adam Valkin is a managing director at venture capital firm General Catalyst. Adam oversees the firm’s global early-stage practice and co-led its international expansion.
 
Prior to joining GC, Adam was a venture partner in the London office of Accel Partners. Before that, Adam was Global Head of Digital Media at the television production company Endemol, a partner at venture capital firm Arts Alliance, and was a co-founder of LOVEFiLM (acquired by Amazon).
 
Adam is on the board of, or has been actively involved with, a number of GC companies including Array, Blank Street, Bloom & Wild, Bowery, Brainly, Cazoo (NYSE: CZOO), Deliveroo (LON: ROO), Fundbox, Hopin, Kavak, Melio, Monzo, Rapyd, Rebag, Ro Health, Shift Technology, Snackpass, Spinny, SuperPlay, Titan, and Vroom (NASDAQ: VRM).
 
His previous investments include CCP (acquired by Pearl Abyss), ClassPass (acquired by MindBody), Fiverr, Flywire, GoCardless, and Spotify.
 
Adam graduated with a BA in Economics from Harvard University.
