Joseph Armao is a Partner and Fintech Sector Head at Senator Investment Group.

Prior to joining Senator in April 2018, Mr. Armao was an analyst at Strycker View Capital, a long/short equity fund seeded by Blackstone with a financial sector focus.

Prior to Strycker View, Mr. Armao was a Vice President at Blackstone, where he spent eight years building the Strategic Capital Group, focused on seed and equity investments in financial services.

Mr. Armao received a B.A. in Mathematics with a Physics minor, magna cum laude, from Harvard University. Mr. Armao is currently a board director at Figment Inc, and board observer at Acorns Grow and Interchecks Technologies. He is a New York Board member of Music Will, a national charitable organization dedicated to music education.
