Dave Lipman co-leads Bain & Company’s North American Private Equity Technology practice.
He has helped to build the practice which supports financial sponsors as they look to evaluate technology businesses and to help create value within their portfolio companies. Since joining Bain as an MBA Summer Intern from Sloan 19 year ago, he has led over 300 technology projects including buy side diligence and growth strategy for sponsor-backed and publicly traded businesses.
In addition to his work in technology and private equity, Dave also leads social impact work at Bain and is a board Trustee for The Nature Conservancy of Massachusetts.
Dave received an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to attending MIT, he worked in consulting in Washington DC with a focus on telco and private equity and at a Cisco-backed telco startup. Dave is also a graduate of Dartmouth College where he earned an AB in history with a minor in Chemistry.
