Andreas Dische | New York State Common Retirement Fund

Andreas Dische is a Senior Portfolio Manager at the New York State Common Retirement Fund, responsible for opportunistic investments across public and private markets. The Fund is the third largest pension plan in the nation with approximately $280 billion in assets. Andreas presently focuses on opportunities in private credit, special situations, hedge funds and GP Stakes. Andreas also oversees the fund’s multi-sector fixed income strategic partnership mandates.

Previously, Andreas was Head of Global Macro at OMERS, where he managed an absolute return portfolio across global equity, fixed income, and currency markets. Earlier, he was Head of Global Tactical Asset Allocation Research at JP Morgan and a Global Strategist at Goldman Sachs.

Andreas serves on the board of Capital Constellation and is a member of the American Council on Germany. He holds an MBA and a Ph.D. in finance from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Andreas was a Swiss National Science Foundation Fellow and a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University.

LINDSEY MCMURRAY | Pollen Street Capital

Lindsey McMurray is the Managing Partner and Co-founder of Pollen Street Capital, an independent alternative investment management company. The firm focuses on accelerating the progress of the financial and business services sector. Lindsey founded Pollen Street Capital in 2013, and it has since developed to comprise a team of 70+ professionals with offices in both London and New York City. Pollen Street Capital operates across private equity and credit strategies on behalf of investors, including leading pension funds, asset managers, banks, and family offices from around the world.  

Lindsey McMurray has been a private equity investor for more than 25 years with a particular focus on the financial services sector. Alongside her role at Pollen Street Capital, Lindsey serves as non-executive director on the boards of several of Pollen Street Capital’s portfolio companies, including Shawbrook Bank, Cashflows Europe, and Bidx1. Before she founded Pollen Street Capital, Lindsey led the Principal Finance business for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). During her time at RBS, Lindsey also successfully structured and fulfilled numerous credit investments on behalf of the bank. Notably, Lindsey McMurray also led the launch of the £1.1bn Special Opportunities Fund within RBS. The fund’s investments comprised acquiring and growing several specialty finance businesses.  

Prior to her role at RBS, Lindsey spent six years as a Partner at Cabot Square Capital, focusing on operating investments in real estate and other asset backed investments, together with investments in the financial services sector. Lindsey started her career as a derivatives trader at Kleinwort Benson shortly after finishing her university education. She has a First-Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance and studied for an MPhil in Finance from Strathclyde University.  

Outside of work Lindsey McMurray is a keen runner having successfully completed the Marathon Des Sables in both 2007 and 2011. She also supports several charities with a particular focus on mentoring children in state schools, promoting climate action initiatives through the producing of documentary films, as well as supporting the speech and language charity organisation, Auditory Verbal UK, which gave early years therapy to her daughter Grace.  

Tyler Zachem | Broad Sky Partners

Tyler Zachem is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Broad Sky Partners, which he originally started in 2014. In 2015, Tyler and his team joined Carlyle and Carlyle acquired a portion of Broad Sky’s investments. In June 2021, Tyler relaunched Broad Sky Partners.

While at Carlyle, a leading global private equity firm, Tyler helped build Carlyle’s long-dated investment platform, Carlyle Global Partners (“CGP”).  As Co-Head, Tyler’s responsibilities included setting strategy, building the team of investment professionals, investing and fundraising activities across two investment vehicles. In addition, Tyler also served as Co-Chair of the Investment Committee for the Carlyle U.S. Equity Opportunity Fund (“CEOF”), Carlyle’s middle market investment platform.  Responsibilities for this role included helping set the fund’s organizational approach and strategic alignment with Carlyle industry groups, as well as playing a leading role in the sourcing and evaluating of CEOF investment opportunities. In his capacity as Co-Head of CGP and Co-Chair of CEOF, Tyler sat on numerous boards.

Prior to Broad Sky and Carlyle, Tyler was with MidOcean Partners and its predecessor, DB Capital Partners, for 14 years where he was Head of Business Services, Media and Communications sector team, and served on the firm’s Investment Committee.  In addition to these leadership roles, Tyler led numerous investments and represented MidOcean on several company boards. 

Tyler earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated from University of Rochester.

Previously, Ms. Rich was an Associate with Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York, where she advised clients on a broad range of financing transactions.

Ms. Rich earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from New York University School of Law.
